Cheers To a New Year & Highlights to my Favorite Pictures of 2017

Cheers to 2018 and all the things that it brings. The good the bad, the salty and the sad. No matter what this year brings i'm ready for it!  2017 was a year of growth.
It was a challenging year and although it was pretty good as far as meeting new people, new opportunities and experiences, it was also a year where I took a few L's. In 2017, my motto was always everything happens for a reason and I truly believe it. I lost a few friends but gained amazing new ones. Losing those I thought would be in my life for many years taught me that not everyone you meet or is close to you is suppose to be there forever. Some people are only there for a season and a lesson and that is okay.  Some people come in your life for a life time and some people come for a short period of time and you have to decide which is which.  Once these so called "friends" decide to leave, you have to love yourself enough to get up and go on with your life. You cant make anyone who no longer has the desire to be there stay. If someone wants to walk out of your life, Let Them GO.

Madea from the Tyler Perry Movie's once said "some people are like leaves on a tree, when the wind blows they over here then they are over there. They are everywhere the wind takes them. Those people are unstable. Some people are like branches and they seem to be really strong and they will have you thinking that they are a good friend but the minute you step out on them, they will break and leave you high & Dry. But if you find two or three people in your life who are like the roots at the bottom of the tree you are blessed because these are the type of people who aren't going anywhere. If those roots weren't there the tree couldn't live."

In 2017 I also decided to invest in myself, my brand and my future. I bought a camera so I could take my own photos and started a YouTube channel. I invested more into this blog and started working on starting up my own company. I am still growing and bettering my craft but I am enjoying the process. The best thing you can do, is invest in yourself and your future. I know where I want to be in life and although I am not there yet I will continue to have faith in God and trust him.  Anything worth having in life will not come easy, but it will be worth it. The process of coming up and growing will build character and will make you stronger. Continue to Trust the process, Trust God and keep going. This year, 2018 I am determined to continue to grow, and become a better version of myself.
